I have always had a hard time explaining where my love of

photography comes from. What I know is, at age 14, I was handed an old Minolta 35mm film camera and became instantaneously captivated with my new found ability to record the world as I saw it. Photographing life became something I simply just did and I quickly learned to embrace photography as a means of communication.

 

In 2005 I earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Applied Photography: Photojournalism from Rochester Institute of Technology. Following that, I worked as a newspaper staff photographer in upstate New York for 3 ½ years.

 

This past year I brought out my inner cowgirl while working at ranches in Arizona and Utah.

 

I am currently residing in the mountains of central Arizona and am available for freelance.
